What is a good theory Of Mice and Men?

I need a good theory to write an analysis over. Like lennie is secretly a genius, I know I'm exaggerating but I think my teacher want something pretty far fetched but still possibly to prove in some ways. I basically need theories that are not very abvious and easy to catch up when you read the book for the first time, but still can be proven in some ways.
