What does Crooks mean by "A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody."(72-73)
I'm confused by this and I know that the quote kind of explains itself, but is there any other kind of deeper meaning?

Crooks is referring to the fact that loneliness and alienation are enough to make you crazy..... everyone needs somebody.
