Oedipus Rex!!!!!!

Today, Pedipus would be jailed for his father's death. Ultimately, their argument would be deemed road rage by the courts, but nonetheless it would be inexcusable even though Laius delivered the first blow. The age of his father would also be considered in the courts as Laius was an OLD man, although we don't have an apt decription of how old within the text.

On incest, Oedipus would never be convicted. He had no idea of his parentage, and his mother had no idea that the shepherd hadn't murdered the baby as he'd been charged.
