Thami attends a public high school, and Isabel attends a private girl's school.

Isabel believes that women can do and be anything..... Thami believes a woman's place is in the home.

Thami lives in a world of violence, a place where you must be careful of how you use your words.... Isabel has been sheltered, unaware that saying the word "riot" can be misconstrued as something other that a good time.

Thami lives in poverty, whereas, Isabel's home has servants.
