Do you mean chapter 25? Justin gets involved. He makes it look like the cage was faulty. All rats rats get away after Timothy builds scaffolding

Nicodemus thinks this was Jenner and his group. This causes so much attention because they may lead the people from NIMH back to the NIMH civilization and capture the rats.
