Gramma and Grampa's house was like a smaller version of the white house with less pillars, every morning when Hiram woke up he smelled the nutty aroma of coffee. Some days the smell of spicy sausages waft up to his room, or the smell of freshly baked muffins. If he lay quietly on his bed he could hear the muffled sound of clatter of stirring spoons, pots, and pans down in the kitchen. I found this on pages 9 and 10.
