In Chapter 39, Misha and Janina cannot get back through the wall. All the holes are plugged. They see everyone parading out of the ghetto, so they run to Stawki Station. At the station Misha loses sight of Janina, until he sees a Jackboot lift and throw her through the crowd. While running to her another Jackboot he realizes is Uri shoots him in the ear.
