In Maniac Magee, what three main events cause Maniac to run away from the Beale's house?

Neighbors deface the Beale's home, someone ruins Amanda's prized book, Encyclopedia "A", and racial tension seems to escalate. Sure that all of these things are a result of his presence, Maniac decides it is time to leave and he finds himself back at the zoo.
