Explain this soliloquy
- Act II, Scene 1, The Dagger Speech: "Is th is a dagger which I see before me?"
Explain this soliloquy
Macbeth really doesn't want to kill Duncan. He hallucinates a dagger guiding him to Duncan's chambers. Much of this soliloquy has to do with Macbeth's doubts about killing the king, the afterlife, and ruining his mental health.
