Macbeth

Macbeth

How is Lady Macbeth different at the beginning of Act V from how she was earlier in the play? What can we infer is the cause of this transformation?

In act five L. Macbeth is basically crazy. She is sleepwalking and muttering all the evil deeds she and Macbeth have done. This is a far cry from her courage and bravado that she displayed at the beginning of the play.
