What type of leader was jack in chapter 9?

Jack has focused simply on hunting and entertaining the boys. He has manipulated them by offering indulgence for their primal impulses without accountability. Ralph offers civility, responsibility, and work. Ralph cannot compete with what Jack's style of leadership.
