Charles is angry at his teacher's lecture. He believes the protestors were actually terrorists in their own right. Near the end of the debate, Marcus reads the portion of the Declaration of Independence that indicates that if a government is not working for the people, it should be abolished and a new one created. The words terrorist and protester are especially poignant today. One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter. It really depends how you see the world.
