I'm not sure what you mean by birthdate. Alan is a 29 year old young man who replays his life at 17 when he went to live with his father in California. His dad had abandoned him years previously. He simply wants a close relationship with his dad, but finds resistance when his father demands he work full-time along with going to school full-time, and is ultimately kicked out of the house because his father thinks he is gay because he isn't laying any girls.
