In Chapter 9 describe the atmosphere in the colonies now that spring is approaching

The men in the colonies are becoming more and more agitated and apprehensive. They have been turned down by the British in all of their attempts to make peace, so they are considering another tack. The spring brings clear water and a chance to use the waterways which they eventually do.
