Describe the discovery of mount Everest.

Nobody discovered Everest,it has always been there: a giant mountain towering over the world. There is a small preamble giving details about it in chapter 1. It is 25000 feet beyond the effects of low atmospheric pressure upon the human body. It is difficult to mountaineer because of the severe conditions and demands on the human body. The mountain did not yield to the first attempts at climbing it.
