    What really happens in Acts V and VI? How much is a part of Willis' imagination? What do the more imagined qualities of the novel allow Yu to explore?

    The TV show in Act V is very believable in itself, as children's shows are often fantastical. But even real conversations between Willis and his family are somehow within the show: there is a group of singing children that responds to what they say and do. Act VI continues much of the ambiguity of Black and White but to a greater extent. Willis, not his character, is on trial, but Green and Turner are still somehow detectives testifying against him.
