What are Saul's reservation about playing the kapukasing chiefs? Why is virgil so eager to play them?

Saul knows what happens whenever he is involved with the white world and hockey: nothing good. He knows his team will be subjected to racism. It is ironic that the Chiefs should want to play Saul and his team after Saul was kicked off the last white team for being too good. Virgil wants to prove an Indian team can beat the Chiefs. He also wants the challenge of playing at a higher level.
