How do you feel about Saul in chapter 1 ?

This is really asking for your opinion. This is a frame story meaning that it begins and it ends in a similar place. We bigin the narrative with Saul at an indiginous rehab facility. My initial reaction is that Saul is a wounded individual who is introspective. We see glimpses into the past that are filled with indiginous imagery and childhood backstory. We see that Ojibway culture is a very big part of who Saul is.
