Father L. cared about the kids. He is a bit of a paradox as he also abused Saul while protecting him.

Father L. did not agree with the inhumane punishment inflicted on kids like the use of the Iron Sister.

Fatrher L. was involved with the lives of many kids.

Father Quinney was distant. He was more an administrator. He believed in assimilation.
