What "Answers" do we receive in Part 3?

In Part III, we learn that Perry resented never having had an education. His family was poor, and his mother was an alcoholic. After being taken from his mother, he was put in an orphange where he was beaten for wetting the bed and summarily neglected. His father later removed him from the orphange and took him to Alaska where he lived off the land and learned the skills he needed to survive. He and his father opened a failed business (a lodge), after which, Perry left Alaska for good. Two of his siblings committed suicide, Perry turned to crime. Note, most of this information about Perry's past comes from Persons Unknown.

Perry's resentment of his sister is an important detail. He says..... “I happen to have a brilliant mind. In case you didn’t know. . . . But no education, because he didn’t want me to learn anything, only how to tote and carry for him. Dumb. Ignorant. That’s the way he wanted me to be”

In this quote, we can see Perry's resentment..... his bitterness. He is jealous of her home, the life she is living, and he threatens....... “One fine day he’d pay her back, have a little fun—talk to her, advertise his abilities, spell out in detail the things he was capable of doing to people like her, respectable people, safe and smug people, exactly like Bobo”
