How does Achilles keep "attacking" Hector, even after he fatally stabs him? Is this nehavior in the line with a Greek hero of battle? What is Hector's final plea??

Achilles is so angry over the death of his friend Patroclus that his anger gets the best of him and he can hardly stop himself. The gods do not approve of such behavior since they do have rules of battle which the heroes are expected to follow. Hector simply wants to be given a proper burial and to be returned to his family; it is a simple request, but Achilles is not thinking clearly.
