What is the thesis for Chapter 5?

A thesis for the fifth chapter would include the fact that it was written in 1985, forty years after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. It would also include the fact that the chapter detailed the lives of six survivors, as well as the effects of their experiences.
