Stephen Blackpool

Stephen Blackpool is a poor man, who works in one of Bounderby's factories. His wife is a drunk, who left him before the story began but reappears at will. When he loses his job at the factory, Stephen leaves Coketown in order to look for work. While he's gone, he is accused of murder. In the end.... Stephen dies after being hurt in an accident.
