What are the similarities and differences between Vincent and Eugene?

Jerome took his genetic gifts for granted. He expects nothing less than perfection. Vincent has to work three times as hard for anything he achieves. Vincent gets to where he wants by wit, determination, and pain. Vincent takes nothing for granted. Jerome lacks the tenacity that Jerome has. Jerome cannot handle failure while failure just makes Vincent work harder.
