How does Nick respond to the assignment Mrs Granger gave him?

Nick wasn't happy about the report or the thirty-five definitions he had for homework..... it was a beautiful day and he wanted to play outside. Going outside, howeverm wasn't looking good, as the rule at Nick's house required that homework be done first.
