Violet’s request for assistance repairing her feedware is ultimately rejected. Why is her request rejected? Is it her own fault that she can’t get help?

It seems Violet's request was rejected because she didn't fulfill the tasks set before her as a part of having the feed. Violet's research project was incomplete, and she is of no use to corporations is she doesn't keep the data they want. Because the main reason for their refusal seems to be because of Violet's noncompliance.... I'd have to say it's her own fault.
