What did Mildred mean by ... "poor family...oh everything, everything,gone,now". Who is Mildred lamenting?

Montag is upset and angry with Mildred when she is coming out of the house. The reason he is upset is because she comes out saying, " Poor family,poor family, oh everything gone, everything,everything gone now..." (116).Mildred is lamenting the end of her family even though they have no kids. "Mildred, you didn't put in the alarm!" (116).
