What is the setting of the event?

This happens right outside the school. Ender has had his monitor removed and Stilson, the bully, taunts Ender. Ender convinces Stilson to fight him alone and Ender drops him with one kick. Ender is considered "strange" at school by the other kids. This is because of his latent leadership abilities and other talents.
