Who are the androids

They are real. They are created to serve humanity, they are basically slaves. They have the emotional capabilities of children yet intellectually, some can do incredible things. They also become a metaphor for the people we use and discard in our own society. Also the way we treat animals, sentient beings, is also a metaphor for these androids as well.
