(Act 1) 7. In the first scene with Linda, Willy contradicts himself twice. About what did he contradict himself?

In the first scene, Willy calls Biff a "lazy bum," something that Linda defends because in her eyes, Biff is merely trying to "find himself." Almost immeditaely afterward, Willy contradicts that statement when he states that Biff is not lazy, and says he's going to try and get Biff a job as a salesman.
