Do you think the character played by Robin Williams had a positive or negative impact on the students he taught?

I think these boys will remember their brief time with Mr. Keating for the rest of their lives. Mr. Keating helped these boys break out of their adolescent shells of conformity and explore what it means to be an individual. Mr. Keating helped them understand that sometimes it is good to throw caution to the wind "seize the day" instead of remaining complacent.
