Do you think that the custom of holding plays in ini court-yards influenced the general architecture of permanent: playhouses of the time? Where in England would one by most likely to find such permanent playhouses?

Before royalty, like Elizabeth the first , decided they liked live theatre, most plays were done in courtyards of inns. Once royalty decided plays were good enough for their attendance, permanent theatres like the Globe were built in towns like London.
