Describe briefly the reaction of the actors on learning of the plight of the "young lad” who is fleeing from “justice”. Does Peter feel that he can trust them?

The players do not like the law or magistrates so they have sympathy for the boy. Peter doesn't trust them because someone wanting a reward might give him away or the troop just doesn't want to get in trouble with the law who lets them play the theatre. Peter warms up to them pretty quickly though.
