In these paragraphs, how does the treatment given by and to the dogs fit with the law of club and fang to which Buck has grown accustomed?
In the first two paragraphs of Chapter Six, we can see that the law of club and fang has dissipated altogether. Buck is safe, cared for, and comfortable. He is allowed the time to rest and rehabilitate, there are no clubs.... just love.
