In what way did Sitting Bull resist adopting the white mans life?

Sitting Bull resisted adopting the white man's life by refusing to move onto the reservation and moving to Canada. After he returned, Sitting Bull refused to farm and refused ration stamps. He also allowed his people to dance the "ghost dance", even though it was forbidden.
