The Tea Act- Colonists believed they were being taxed unfairly and that they were being tricked into compliance.

The Patriots worked on making a plan that would allow the ships to leave with the tea........ the Governor did not agree. They did not want the tea to be unloaded and they didn't want to be responsible. The refusal was the reason for the party.
