The Phantom Tollboth-5
What would the King of Wisdom—Azaz and the Mathemagician's father—think of the state of things in the Lands Beyond? Would he be pleased with the way his sons have been looking after the kindgom?

I don't think they would have been happy with the Land Beyond. There is literally and figuratively no rhyme and reason. The sisters, Rhyme and Reason, were imprisoned in a castle faraway. What is left is pure nonsense. Juster, for example, uses the Royal Banquet to underscore just how badly the Land Beyond is in need of logic and reason.
