Add YoursThe book you read may not have a resolution because it may be a cliff hanger or unresolved so you know for next time to get the next book. Cliff hangers are popular and used quite frequently within different genres and book types. Another possible reason being that if the resolution (usually happens at the end), can help with the plot, the climax of the next book in the series (if there is on), it may also leave the reader (you) to wonder and guess, what will happen, what could happen and leave you wondering. This happens a lot for popular books or the books author's wish were more popular. So we keep coming back to the book/series to see what happens. Cliff hangers like these, are what keep us on the edge of our seats for the tv or movies that we like to watch and love. I have hope that this has helped your question, and hope it wasn't to late.
