IS THE INSPECTOR 'FAKE'?

Yes, the inspector is a fake. The police force doesn't have an Inspector Goole, and we never find out who he really was, but his character does have a huge part in foreshadowing future twists and turns in the plot. Some believe that the Inspector came to pre-warn the family, but that is debatable. Others believe that his name name Goole is a play on words, ghoul, which would could possibly mean he was otherworldly. Nonetheless, he wasn't a real inspector, and his actions allowed the family to see themselves and step up to do the right thing.

IF I KNOW IS INSOECTOR WAS CAME FROM FUTURE HE WASN'T FAKE. BUT MR.BIRLING AND OTHER PEOPLE KNOWS THAT INSOECTOR 'GOOLE' WAS NOT THE REAL INSPECTOR-WHEN THEY KNOW ABOUT THIS AFTER, THE REAL INSPECTOR SEE HER EVA IN HER HOUSE, INSPECTOR SEE HER SHE WRITING IN HER DAIRY . THEN WHEN EVA FINISHED HER WRITING SHE GOING TO SUICIDE( MR.BIRLING AND OTHER PEOPLE KNOWS NOTHING IS CHANGE). THEN INSPECTOR COME HER HOUSE AND READING THE WHOLE DAIRY( EVA SMITH). WHEN HE FINISHED HER READING HE TRY TO SAVE EVA. BUT HE CANT SAVE HER. THEN HE CALLS TO MR.BRILING AND SAID TO HIM THAT INSPECTOR IS COMING HE IS HIS OWN WAY.9 COMING IN MR.BOIRLING HOUSE). ( SORRY FOR THE BAD ENGLISH).....
