Keller wasn't ethical. How do you assess your actions in terms of what you're gonna do?

The first action we must take when weighing the ethics of a particular action would be to place ourselves in the position of those we will affect by our actions and apply the Golden Rule. In other words, one should treat others in the same way they wish to be treated. Thus, Keller should have thought about whether or not he would have put himself on one of the planes with the defective cylinder heads..... he should have thought of his son away in the service and asked himself if he would have wanted him placed on one of the planes. Keller did not apply the Golden Rule to his decision.
