ACT 2: What are the unsaid implications of the conversation between Ann and Chris on page 47?

Ann tells Chris that Sue hates him and says that everyone thinks Keller is guilty. Chris says that there is no suspicion in his mind whatsoever, asking if she thought he could possibly forgive his father if he had been guilty. I think the implication is that Chris knows deep down that his father is guilty.
