Why is it so important to Guzzo for no one to know he and his boys were present when Paul attacked Rashad?

Guzzo is determined that no one know he was there because it was his brother who beat up Rashad. He doesn't want to be linked to the beating..... to have it known that he and his friends watched and did nothing.
