Things are beginning to get chaotic at the apartment. Frightening shadows and reflections begin to appear on the walls which reflect Blanche's nervous movements. Wild, jungle-sounding cries can be heard. This shows how Blanche is experiencing the world. She panics at the implications of her actions and Stanley's growing antagonism.
