i read what the members of his family did to Dave as a child, especially his aggressive mother and passive father, but what happened to that despicable mother who abused Dave so terribly for 8 years? I hope justice prevailed where the mother is concerned, mentally ill, achoholic, or not. It's horrific and beyond belief! And where are the father and all of the brothers, besides the brother that corroborated Dave's story in his own book? So, is the rest of the story in any of the sequels to Volume I? The Child Named It is one of the most disturbing examples of child abuse I have ever read and as a teacher, I hope those guilty have had to pay in a big way! Good for you Dave, to continue on, live a productive life, and to help others! You should be very proud of yourself! Sorry if this is considered an essay, it needs to be said!
