Do you mean meeting O'Brien? O'Brien had whispered in Winston's dreams that they shall meet again in the place where there is no darkness. Winston realizes that this is the place.

Winston had met Julia before but they could only speak in fragmented quick sentences. When they are together in the town square they can only speak in the same way. Hopefully that is what you mean.
