Should the U.S. expand offshore oil drilling? YES OR NO.. Briefly explain your choice.

This is asking for your opinion. I'm inclined to move away from fossil fuels altogether. I don't even think future markets will support large scale fossil fuels. Gas fuelled cars will probably be a thing of the past in the next fifty years. Our environment is also deteriorating rapidly. WE need to cut back on fossil fuels now.
